  • Light Tracking Data: Data related to the plant's exposure, including directional light intensity and duration (e.g., west-facing window).
  • Location Data: We collect general location data (city and state, e.g., Phoenix, AZ) to factor in regional climate, sun intensity, and evaporative conditions for accurate watering recommendations. We do not collect precise GPS location without your explicit permission.
  • Usage/Algorithm Data: Interactions with the app, device ID, watering frequency, and the output of the care algorithm.

2. Use of Your Information

  • Service Provision & Personalization: To run our proprietary care algorithm and generate tailored watering and light recommendations based on your sensor readings and climate data.

Special Notice: Use of Mobile Phone Numbers

Your mobile phone number is used solely to communicate important, non-marketing, and service-related alerts, such as:

Opting out of mobile messaging will not affect your subscription to the LingoLeaf Service or other email communications.
